Для воспроизведения таких видео мы рекомендуем использовать MPC-HC в качестве плеера. Вам также необходимо использовать Madvr в качестве средства рендеринга видео, потому что это единственный рендер, способный пересылать метаданные HDR на ваш телевизор / монитор. Он также способен преобразовывать цвета в диапазон SDR для воспроизведения на обычных экранах, которые не совместимы с HDR-видео.

The default button size is selected based on your screen resolution and Windows font scaling settings. Feedback is welcome for finetuning this default value.
MPC-HC is now able to play URLs from Youtube and several other video websites.
This functionality requires youtube-dl.exe which you need to download yourself. Place that file in your Windows folder (usually c:\Windows) to make it available for use by MPC-HC.
You can configure the quality (or more precisely the maximum video resolution) that is used by youtube-dl in MPC-HC settings (Options > Advanced > YDLMaxHeight). For example 1080 for FullHD video. We recommend a value of 1440 or lower, because higher resolutions usually do not play smoothly.

Hardware acceleration is now enabled by default on systems where the primary GPU supports HEVC video. You can adjust these settings if desired, like with all settings in the codec pack. It is currently only enabled by default on compatible Intel and Nvidia systems. For AMD systems this will be done in a future version when their drivers are more reliable. It is also not enabled by default on systems that provide only hybrid acceleration. But you can of course enable it manually during (or after) installation. In previous versions of the codec pack hardware acceleration was always disabled by default. So for most users, nothing changes.

LAV Audio decoder now supports decoding DTS-HD Master Audio (up to 7.1 / 96 kHz / 24-bit). Previously it could only decode the embedded DTS core.
The default audio decoder has been changed from ffdshow to LAV.
The installer now has four installation modes (Simple/Normal/Advanced/Expert) which differ in the amount of options shown during installation. In the new default mode (Normal) less options are shown than in previous versions. To get the same amount of options as in previous versions, you have to select the Advanced mode.
The installer now provides options to specify your preferred audio and video player. The installation is optimized based on your choices.
In Simple and Normal install mode, the installer will now automatically create file associations for your preferred players. In Advanced and Expert mode, file associations are pre-configured, but can be adjusted as desired. There is an option to turn off this automatic behavior.
The installer now provides easy options to specify your preferred audio/video decoders and splitter.
The goal of the above changes is to make the installation easier to use for novice users, while still providing full flexibility for our experienced users.

Added support for hardware accelerated decoding of HEVC/H.265 video. Because all currently available hardware does not yet contain a fixed-function decoder for HEVC, the current implementation utilizes the general shader and video processing units of the GPU. As a result the performance is lower and power consumption higher than you might expect. Future hardware will contain a fixed-function decoder and provide better acceleration. At this moment the decoder only works with high-end Intel (HD 4600/5x00/6x00) and NVIDIA (GTX 680/780/870/880/Titan) GPUs. Latest graphics driver is also required.
